We Are Done Watching Qualified People Lose to Connected People.

There is a moment every serious candidate knows.

You did everything right. You studied. You prepared. You wanted it more than anyone else in that process. You were better.

And you still did not get it.

The offer went to someone else.

Someone who seemed (if we are being honest) less prepared than you.

    Less experienced.

    Less hungry.

And then 6 weeks later you found out why.

    They knew someone inside.

A friend who told them what the hiring manager actually cared about.

A colleague who ran them through the real questions.

A connection who picked up the phone and said trust me on this one.

You did not lose because you were less qualified.

You lost because you were alone in the preparation and they were not.

That gap (between what you deserved and what you got) is not a talent gap. It is an access gap.

And we are done pretending it does not exist.

The System is Not Broken By Accident

The career advice industry makes more money when you fail than when you succeed.

    Think about it.

    • When you fail an interview you buy another course, certification, or program.
    • You hire another resume writer to update your resume again.
    • You pay for another month of AI job hunting agents to apply to 300 more jobs.
    • You book another coaching session.
    • You subscribe to another newsletter.
    • You keep consuming and the career advice industry keeps collecting.

Nobody in that ecosystem has a financial incentive to put you in the room with the hiring manager who is filling the role right now and tell you directly what that specific person is looking for based on a conversation they had last week.

Nobody except us. Because we only win when you win.

That alignment is not a feature we added. It is the foundation we built our everything on.

When the incentives change, everything changes.

Here is What Is Actually Happening in This Market Right Now

Right now (today) a hiring manager is explaining exactly what their team is looking for in a product manager, forward deployed engineer, or marketing engineer.

    What they are firm on.

    What they are flexible on.

What has gotten the last several candidates eliminated before the second round.

That intelligence exists and we have the access to it.

Right now (today) there is a real time database of rejection feedback from candidates who has failed the process in the past several months.

    It documents the specific patterns.

The exact moments where strong candidates stopped being strong candidates.

The precise questions that exposed the gaps that cost people offers they almost had.

That database exists. We have read it.

Right now (today) there are hiring managers who will take a call from us because we have a track record of sending top tier talent actually worth their time.

Our team has been doing this for close to a decade.

That relationship exists. We use it every week.

You are out there preparing from a job description that was written at least four months ago that has never been updated.

You are practicing answers to questions you found on Reddit written back from God knows when.

You are applying through a portal that eliminates your resume before a human being reads your name.

And somewhere (right now) another forward deployed engineer or product manager is doing none of those things.

They either have “access” to this intelligence and preparation through their friends or…

    They are inside our program.

They have the hiring manager intelligence.

    They have the rejection feedback.

They have the custom cheat interview sheet built from their specific background cross-referenced against the most updated job description, most recent candidate rejection feedback, and what this specific team specifically needs right now.

They are running their ninth mock interview session with a real partner who is challenging them the same way the actual interviewer will.

They are preparing themselves in the every possible way to best secure the offer.

The question is whether or that person is going to be you.

Here is What Our Team Knows to Be True

We KNOW the most expensive thing you can do in this market is prepare alone.

Not because studying is bad. Because the interview is not a written exam. It is a verbal performance under real pressure in front of a real human being who is evaluating in REAL TIME whether you could walk into a client boardroom and earn the room's trust in fifteen minutes.

You cannot develop that by reading.

You develop it by doing it, out loud, with real partners, with real feedback, until it stops sounding like a robotic performance, and starts feeling like a real natural conversation.

We KNOW a rejection is intelligence, not a verdict.

More than 71 percent of the offers we have generated across our programs which include forward deployed engineering, product management, and marketing engineering came from companies that first said no.

The rejection tells you what was missing.

You address what was missing. You come back with something different. You do not wait a year. You follow up immediately with a stronger story.

This is not desperation. It is the operating philosophy of every founder who ever raised a dollar after getting passed on by the first twenty investors.

We KNOW the window is closing faster than most people realize.

    This is not a metaphor.

The market for human beings who can do what the best product managers, forward deployed engineers, and marketing engineers do is being created right now, not in three years, but right now and the supply of qualified candidates is dramatically insufficient to meet it.

The professionals who develop this capability in the next eighteen months will be irreplaceable, positioned at the forefront of the top tier organizations, and holding the key leadership roles.

The ones who wait will be competing against at least twice as many candidates, twice as hard, and twice as long than they would right now.

We have watched this dynamic compress in other markets. It is compressing in this one.

We KNOW access should not be a privilege.

The candidate who went to the right school and knows the right people has always had an advantage in the job market.

We are not naive enough to think and WE KNOW that we can eliminate that advantage entirely overnight. But we can close the gaps wherever possible.

Our mission is to provide you access to the same intelligence, the same preparation infrastructure, and the same direct recruiter relationships that the more connected and often times less qualified candidates have taken for granted.

That is not charity. That is the business we chose to build.

    Who We Are

    We are TechCareers.io.

We are based in New York, the city where we are proud to learn 35 percent of all forward deployed engineering jobs in the country are located and the largest tech talent hub in the industry.

We have the hiring manager intelligence. We have the rejection database. We can submit your profile directly to the people making the decisions with context that changes how they read your background.

We show up in person in New York, in the Bay Area, and online with live AI training, hiring events, and the kind of community that compounds over time.

We have been building this community for nearly a decade and the people who went through our program 8 and 9 years ago are the hiring managers building teams today and coming back to us to find the next generation.

We do not take everyone. The strategy session is honest. If we cannot help you we will tell you that directly rather than take your money and give you something generic.

But if you are serious and if you are willing to do the preparation required to be successful rather than study privately, willing to run the mock interviews, willing to build the portfolio and earn the certification and follow up after every rejection, then we can provide you with what the connected candidate has always had.

The intelligence. The preparation. The access.

The Only Question Left is Whether You are Serious Enough to Find Out

The people who gets the best offers, at the best salaries, and with the best companies are not always the best candidate.

They are the best prepared and that can be you from this moment forward.

But only if you stop preparing alone.
